About a week ago I perusing my local grocery store looking at the day old bakery items when I discovered the giant cookie pictured above. I thought to myself, I can make that at home.
If only I had listened to myself I would’ve been better off. While the cookie was nicely decorated it was very crumbly and well…. it was stale. I’m not complaining because even as we forced ourselves to choke it down over tall glasses of ice cold milk I was still inspired. Even though I haven’t actually made this beautiful fall cookie in “real-life” yet it is definitely on my to -do list.
3 rolls of refrigerated cookie dough
1 jar icing (in fall colors or food coloring to achieve fall colors)
Spread cookie dough onto round pizza pan. Bake at 350 for 20 mins (checking & rotating every 7 mins.) When done remove from oven and allow to cool. Pipe icing around edges and to make a fall tree. Wah-lah! EZ-Peasy right? If you happen to give this a try before I do, please share your masterpiece with me.
