My husband and I have been married for almost 25 years. Over the years our marriage has experienced the gamut of ups, downs and disappointments. The visionary in me has often dreamed/ envisioned alternative scenarios to our lifestyle, but the writers of the show SATISFACTION, even have me beat, by a long shot.
Marriage can be a strange beast. In the beginning it can be idealistic and filled with rainbows and unicorns. As the years roll on marriage can be become altruistic, hoe-hum and yes albeit BORING. The thing about marriage is: “Sometimes Life Gets in the Way,”. Whatever you’re experiencing, going through at work, in other relationships all gets piled into your marriage. So, many times the marriage suffers when it had nothing to do with the real problem at all. My suggestion…..
Get Some SATISFACTION!
In the new provocative drama, SATISFACTION explores modern marriage at
its midpoint. Through the lens of a couple married 18 years, Neil Truman
(Matt Passmore) and his wife, Grace (Stephanie Szostak), this series
answers the question, “What do you do when having it all is not
enough?” by delving into their shocking and unconventional choices.
SATISFACTION is also a fun and sexy series in addition to being thought provoking. The series will center on investment banker Neil Truman and his wife Grace. The couple has seemingly achieved the American Dream, a sleek modern home, a beautiful teenage daughter, Anika, but find themselves seeking. looking for something…. more. The series ask the question: “Would you risk your marriage to save it?”
The thought provoking series is smart, funny and what I like to call “Good TV” So many times shows only catch my attention while I’m watching them; but this show had me thinking about the situations long after I was finished watching it. It is an adult situation “dramedy”, my own word. The scenarios are well thought out and yet they provoke you to continue to think over and over and come up with alternative scenarios. It’s a definite must see.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to see the show which airs on on USA Network Thursdays at 10/9c. May I suggest some “Binge” watching to get caught up. You can get caught
