My boys’ aren’t big on taking pictures just for the “heck” of it. It’s just not their thing. Occasionally I will take candid pictures of my family and save them in my phone and later transfer them to my computer. I prefer spontaneous non-posed images. When Advertise With Bloggers contacted me regarding a review & giveaway of collage.com I was ecstatic about the opportunity.
Over the years the chance to take family pictures with all five (5) of us has not ended up well. Scheduling issues and my boys’ overall disdain to take posed family pics has really made a family portrait difficult. The idea of a collage is perfect for us. I was able to go to my phone and find pics as well as my boys’ social media pages and pick out photos too. The chance to hand pick pictures of ALL of us and place them together on one canvas to display to my friends and family was really a treat.
Collage.com is a super easy site to use. The site is easily navigated whether you’re a beginner or a novice. Anyone can use this site and upload pictures from Facebook, your phone, your computer or even old photos you have lying around the house and in photo albums.
I really enjoy a website I can go right to and use their tools or services without first registering my name, email and tons of other personal information.
I went right to the website and chose which template and background color I wanted to use. As you can see I chose the house template and Purple (my favorite color). After choosing the template I started uploading pictures. I couldn’t believe how effortless the entire process went. Initially the website places your images into the template but I had the option to switch them around or even remove them and add others if I chose too. Once I was satisfied with the placement of the pictures I was given the option to add a phrase to the finished project. I decided to use Our Family 2013. I was then shown what the completed 16×20 canvas would look like. Their online graphics are really good. I was even told that some of my images may not be as clear as I would like in the finished project. I received my canvas in less than 7 (seven) days after I ordered it and it looked identical to the image I viewed online.
I am completely and utterly satisfied with my collage. It captures the true essence of my family and makes for good wall art.
These would make great gifts especially for weddings, graduations and birthdays. In addition to canvas collages’ they also offer cards, blankets, and posters. With a personalized gift of this nature the possibilities really are endless on what you can use them for.
