My family really enjoys Chili.It’s an easy go to meal. Ironically though they will only eat chili in the winter time. I have several Chili recipes I use, depending on whats on hand in the pantry. Chili is one of those dishes where just about any/ everything goes. Here is my recipe for Turkey Chili.
Tonya’s Turkey Chili
1 pound ground Turkey
1 Large Can Red Gold Tomatoes (diced)
1 Onion Chopped
1 Can Kidney beans
1 can whole kernel corn
1 Chili Seasoning Pack (I use Mild)
1 cup of water
1/2 tsp cumin
Brown Turkey and onion in med pot or sauce pan. Add tomatoes,beans,corn,seasoning pack water and cumin. Mix together and let simmer on med heat uncovered for 1 hour. I serve with cornbread & crackers and a dollop of sour cream.
